Erasmus+

Erasmus+ EVS (European Voluntary Service) is an international volunteer program funded by the European Commission. It enables all young people legally resident in Europe, aged between 17 and 30 years, to carry out an international volunteer service in an organization or in a public body for a period ranging from 2 to 12 months. Thanks to the intercultural dimension and its non-formal approach, European Voluntary Service is a unique opportunity to come into contact with cultures different from your own and to acquire new skills and abilities useful for your personal and professional growth.

Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth(BMFSFJ)

The IJFD is a voluntary programme run by the Federal Ministry for Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. It was established on January 1st 2011. The programme enables young people living in Germany to do a voluntary service abroad. Within the scope of this service, the young volunteers can gather intercultural, socio-political and personal experience in a different cultural environment. The IJFD is meant to serve humanity, and also brings a wealth of expierence to the volunteer’s personality. Some of the EDYN volunteer placements are supported by BMFSFJ.

Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)

The development volunteer service was founded in 2008 by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. Some of the EDYN volunteer placements are supported by development volunteer service (BMZ).

Service Civique

Service Civique is a voluntary commitment in France. Its aim is to reinforce national cohesion and social diversity. The volunteers choose to carry out a community work assignment for at least six months; they are at the service of others.

In return, they receive an allowance and are recognized as having a certain number of rights, one being, social security paid for by the State. Service Civique is accessible to everyone from 16 to 25.

Otto per Mille

The Waldensian Evangelical Church of Italy (Union of Methodist and Waldensian Churches) participates, as other Churches duly authorized from the Italian Government, in the distribution of the Otto per Mille IRPEF funds (the “Eight per thousand” from the Italian taxpayer annual income tax). The organization has decided to allocate the complete amount to social, healthcare, humanitarian and cultural interventions, both in Italy and abroad. To this purpose, organizations are given the opportunity to submit project proposals for obtaining a financial contribution.

Servizio Civile Universale

The Servizio Civile Universale is a program funded by the italian state which allows young people between 18 to 30 years old to do a year of voluntary service in various areas of projects (environment, care, education, cultural promotion, civil defence and projects abroad). The young people receive hours of training and a monthly reimbursement to spent for about 30 hours per week of service for 12 months. The Servizio Civile Universale originates by the 1972 italian law about conscietious objection to military service; so one of the most important principles of Servizio Civile Universale is defense of the Homeland with means and non military activities.
